The Occupational purpose must focus on the contribution that the specific occupation makes to the workplace taking into account the various contexts in which it is practiced or where the service is required

For example the if the occupation is that of a manager
- Then the question to be asked is – WHAT IS THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- What is this person’s contribution to the work place ––HOW DOES HE DO THIS WORK
- What are the various contexts that this person works in- WHAT ARE THE CONTEXTUAL CHALLENGES
